First Day Hike

Winter is inevitable in South Pass City, so you might as well enjoy it & take a hike!  Every year on New Years Day SPC hosts a hike on one of the 5 miles of trail on the historic site.  A guide brings history to life talking about the day to day life of miners that called SPC home.

The event is free & refreshments are served trail side courtesy of the Friends of South Pass.
